About Speaker

Danielle Unger leads new business development for a variety of key verticals for the Secure Issuance team at HID. She has worked in traditionally male-dominated industries for the duration of her career, first in professional sports with the Dallas Stars and then in technology with WP Engine before pivoting to the security industry when she joined HID in 2019. Through these experiences, Danielle has developed essential strategies and key tips for asserting her voice in meetings, negotiations and conferences. In 2023, she helped found and set the direction for HID’s first of its kind, employee-led Women’s Initiative Network (WIN), which allows women and allies to come together and share experiences and learn from and mentor each other.
