Women as Security Trailblazers: Building Confidence in a Male-Dominated Industry
Because women make up a disproportionately small part of the security industry, we often find ourselves as the only woman or one of the only women with a seat at the table, delivering presentations, bidding on projects and negotiating deals. So, what are some ways women can gain confidence to lead in a traditionally male-dominated industry? Our panelists will provide real-life methods for overcoming imposter syndrome and discuss approaches for building mentor and community relationships, ways they have asserted their voices and how they have advocated for themselves in meetings and on projects.
