Promoting Personal Wellness: Workplace Mindfulness and Tai Chi Workshop
During this interactive session, participants will discover the benefits of integrating mindfulness practices into the workplace while gaining familiarity with fundamental Tai Chi movements. Some of these benefits include improved focus, increased resilience in the face of challenges, enhanced communication skills, better emotional management, and compassionate leadership. Emphasizing the importance of self-care and achieving a healthy work-life balance, the session offers an introduction to workplace mindfulness alongside hands-on learning of basic Tai Chi and Qigong exercises. These practices are designed to alleviate stress and foster overall well-being, whether practiced at work or home.

Carolyn is the senior director of global fire and security services at Johnson Controls. She also is the owner/founder of Aspen View Mindfulness, LLC, which focuses on providing workplace mindfulness, Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation training programs. She is a Taekwondo Black Belt, Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator and Certified Tai Chi Instructor.
